That was two posts in a row we had to post and hope for the best when the editing permanently froze. Mouse is going to try to post briefly on the rest of Oxford and the last two days in London. If this cannot be accomplished in this post or another, the blog will be at least temporarily abandoned, as Mouse, Badger, and Tigger, too, have far better things to do in Scotland. (Scotland we shall attempt to chronicle by Thursday, if we find a better venue than Mouse's phone to post.)
So! Tigger at the Turf, a lovely (and Mouse's initial typo "lively" also applies) pub located in the old Oxford moat. It's dry now; Tigger seems to think dryness overrated.
Being fans of two of the Inklings (namely C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien), Mouse and Badger had to make their way to the old Inkling meeting place, the Eagle and Child pub. Tigger made a discovery there, courtesy of a couple Tolkien characters (as portrayed in the film adaptation):
But as the photo section had frozen again, that discovery will wait till the start of the next post.
